Face-to-face or online, when WIF members get together,
good things start to happen

There's nothing we love more than a get-together. Bringing our members together, and hearing from some of the most successful and insightful figures in and around the football industry, is a huge part of what we do.
So we're always looking for ideas to extend our already busy programme of events. How did that work out in 2023-24? The phrase 'never a dull moment' springs to mind...
Read on to hear about the face-to-face and online events staged by Women in Football in 2023-24.

Connecting online
Women in Football members span the globe, but our digital events programme helps everyone feel at home.
It began as a way to stay connected during the Covid-19 pandemic. But our online events programme proved a fantastic resource for members who find it hard to attend gatherings in person.
So we kept it running, and expanded it – we're all about inclusiveness, after all – and since then we've never looked back. Here's a rundown of the online events from Women in Football over the 2023-24 period.

WIF webinars
- Fertility Workshop: Exploring the different challenges
- Peri/Menopause: All you need to know
- Work in Progress: What the WIF survey reveals about the football industry
- A fireside chat with Prof Laura McAllister
Round tables
The 2023-24 season of round tables featured nine events, some with no set theme and others addressing subjects such as parental leave, impostor syndrome, online abuse, and the experiences of South Asian WIF members.
Our programmes
Online meeting platforms also played an essential role in facilitating our programmes, such as the WIF Entrepreneurship Mentoring Programme and The Next Goal. Some editions of the Women in Football Leadership Course in partnership with Barclays also run online.
